1. (All functions) – I/We agree to pay a one half deposit immediately, in respect of this confirmation, to secure our requested date. I/We understand that this deposit is refundable to me/us provided that written confirmation of cancellation is received by “The Difference” Catering Company Limited (“The Difference”) not less than seven days prior to the function date.
I/We further agree that unless written notice of a change to the function numbers is received by “The Difference” at least 72 hours prior to the actual function date, that I/We will pay the full invoice based on the original numbers, unless an alternative arrangement is agreed to in writing by “The Difference”.
I/We agree to pay the full account/final balance not later than seven days after the function date. Payments outstanding after 10 days will be deemed overdue, and may, at the company’s discretion, have an additional overdue interest rate of 6% of the outstanding balance added to the overdue amount each 10 day period that the account is overdue until the balance is paid in full.
I/We understand that our quote from you includes the removal of fair and reasonable quantities of catering rubbish from the venue. Arrangements can be made for additional rubbish removal.
I/We acknowledge that where food or beverages are delivered together with items of crockery or cutlery (or other) that such crockery/cutlery/hired goods/other is the property of “The Difference” or its hirer’s, and that any loss or damage to such property will cause economic loss, and that I/We agree to reimburse “The Difference” for any economic loss that they may suffer.
I/We agree that where delivery is paid for by me/us that all items of property of “The Difference” will be made available for collection by us within a reasonable time after delivery. If delivery is not paid for, then I/We agree to ensure safe return of such property within two business days after delivery.
2. (Where functions are held at hired premises) I am/We are liable to “The Difference” for any loss suffered or costs incurred by “The Difference” as a consequence of any damage to any property, or any need to ensure orderly conduct during the course of our function.
